GREEK, BULGARIAN & INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION ”Victor” Born: 1st of May 2001 |
|---|
”Victor” stayed with us until September 2001 when he got picked up here and went to Greece to start a new life with his family there, and we know that he has been as great a pleasure to live with there as his sister CH INKIES VICTORIAN LACE has been for us to have here.
But “Victor” is not only a very beloved member of the family, he has been shown and has several group placements to his credit, so not even 3 years old, he is now GREEK, BULGARIAN & INTERNATIONAL CH INKIES VOYAGER VICTOR.
He makes us very proud, thank you Angie for taking such good care of “our” Victor.

INKIES VOYAGER VICTOR really lived up to his name this year where he visited Crufts. We got a little report from his proud owner, and think it's worthy to share, so here it is: I AM BACK!!!!! Needless to say, you can call me Fileas Fogg from now on…… at least that's what my friend Maria calls me. Two airplanes from Athens to Bruxelles, a car ride from Bruxelles to Calais, one ferry ride from Calais to Dover, 3 trains from Dover to Birmingham and a taxi to Coventry. That's “all” it took to get Victor to England ….. It was long, it was tiresome but we arrived safely. Victor did not got placed, but he and his owner seams to have had a great time re gardin g the following: Victor was a big hit amongst the crowd. He even got a nickname – “Dumbo”, due to his large ears and they were asking me if I am sure that he couldn't fly? Just in case, I should make sure that I didn't take him off the leash just in case he flew off! Victor's behavior was exemplary. Needless to say, Kostopoulos' handling was superb. Victor's movement, by general consensus, was the best in the ring. He also had the best structure and substance. We all knew that Victor was not going to win at Crufts but he won everyone's admiration. We had a wonderful time, we laughed a lot, we went shopping, Victor played with a lot dogs, and hundreds of people pet him and took photos of him. Unfortunately, I was not able to go and watch the best in show as I was holding Victor. Therefore, I was waiting at the exit for George. In doing so, everyone who had attended the BIS passed by me – and ALL of them stopped to pet Victor. Everyone was telling me what a wonderful dog he is and I got to a point where I was tired of explaining over and over again that he is a Danish bred papillon from Inkies Kennel living in Greece . Victor was the sole dog who participated from Greece at Crufts this year. Once again, I would like to thank you that you entrusted Victor to me. His has given many great moments and is a wonderful companion. With much love and many kisses, Marionka What more can a breeder ask for, we can only say THANK YOU to Marionka Dekaristou for bringing , and George Kostopoulos for handling Victor at this show. |

| In the weekend 12th of May we had an International Dog Show in Athens. You will be happy to learn, that Victor did his 'magic' in the ring again and got 3rd place in Group with a large number of entries, most of which were from abroad. Victor here pictured with his proud owner/handler Marionka Dekaristou. |
